The meeting was centered on the intra-and inter-human origin of musicality and music. Musicality arises in the intra-human relationship between "you and me " ( Martin Buber ). Because the mother and child relationship gets integrated in the growing child, it is able to develop an intra-psychic dialogue, which is the origin of language, musicality and music, all of which are for their part the origin of socialization of the growing child. Hygiene of musicality and of music means preserving and cultivating this intra-personal dialogue and relationship. Creativity needs hygiene.

During the meeting we wanted to explore and discover what's happening during a jam session and during a musician's training at a Bass-School. What kind of pace-makers do one use during this training ? Are there transfer concepts and knowledges which improve learning and expression of musicality ? What are the present paradigms in music and is there sufficient plurality of paradigms ? An interesting and very enriching research.
